Trip to Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site in Cornish, NH [1]
Augustus Saint-Gaudens is considered the pre-eminent sculptor of the Gilded Age. Don't miss this tour and picnic lunch!
This trip includes a guided art tour (60 minutes, involves some walking both indoor and outdoor) and a 30 minute tour of “Aspet” Saint-Gaudens' Home. In between tours we'll enjoy a box lunch picnic on the lovely manicured grounds.
Note: Please wear comfortable walking shoes and a sun hat. Do consider bringing a walking stick or cane as a lot of our walking will be on grassy areas.
Transportation: Bus pick up at Peterborough Dunkin' Donuts at 8:15AM
Bus pick up at Jaffrey Dunkin' Donuts at 8:30PM
Drive time is approxiamately 90 minutes to Cornish
We expect to return 4:00-4:30PM
Fee: $15.00 per person to cover the cost of the tours and box lunch. Please pay the fee in advance by a check made out to “Monadnock at Home”and mail it to PO Box 422, Jaffrey, NH 03452.
(If you are travelling to St-G's and meeting us there, the cost of the box lunch is $8.00 per person.)

MENU – Choice of two sandwiches:
Fresh roasted turkey, bacon, avocado– with Bibb lettuce and tomato on Sour Dough bread
OR
Roast Beef Gorgonzola – with fresh roasted garlic aioli on Homemade wheat bread
Potato Salad
Small bag of chips
Dessert bar
Note: Box lunches will include silverware wrapped in napkin. MaH will provide cups, iced tea, lemonade, water, cups and extra napkins.
