Visit Villi Poni Farm

Tue 10/3/17 10:30am

Villi Poni, meaning "Wild Pony" in Finn, lies nestled at the base of Mount Monadnock, in idyllic Jaffrey, New Hampshire.

Surrounded by conservation land abounding with wildlife and overlooking fields and water.  Not long ago, thousands of Newfoundland ponies were slaughtered, nearly to extinction.  Villi Pony Farm is a small sanctuary, working hard to turn this critically endangered pony away from the brink of extinction.  There are only 39 Newfoundland Ponies residing in the U.S. We will meet 13 of them who have a safe haven right here in Jaffrey, NH!  Wear sturdy walking shoes. We will have a tour and then have lunch at nearby Kimball Farm.  We will meet at the Jaffrey Dunkin Donuts at 10:15am to carpool and depart for the farm. RSVP by 9/26 to 371-0809 or  .
